Walters Architects have just gained planning permission for a 2 storey side extension, single storey rear extension and a loft conversion to this impressive detached family home in Leicester.

There were a few challenges with this site and the planning process was slightly delayed (under resourced councils) but nothing the practice and client couldn’t handle.

A robust application meant there are no pre-commencement conditions attached to the approval which will help streamline the process.

We are currently seeking Building Control approval through a private building control company and hope to have the project complete within the next 6 months.

Ultimately, we have achieved the results we all wanted and the client is delighted. Now they’re fully committed on site with the enabling works.
