Walters Architects were based in Rothley, Leicestershire for a few years (ten in all) and are pleased to have become an Approved Planning Agent for Charnwood Borough Council. We were one of the ‘go to’ architects in the Charnwood area.

Since moving to Leicester we have undertaken less work in areas such as Rothley, Quorn, Woodhouse Eaves, Woodhouse and Loughborouh. However, last week we won a few projects on our old stomping ground. These included an extension in Queniborough, a kitchen extension in Quorn and a new build House in Rearsby.

We like the housing stock in the area. The practice is familiar with a majority of the Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas. We work well with the planners and Conservation team so would like to continue to be involved with Charnwood residents.

Update 14.07.23 – Planning Approval Granted from Charnwood Borough Council

We are pleased to update this post with good news. Walters Architects obtained planning permission from the local authority to carry out these proposed works in Queniborough, Leicestershire.

Being approved planning agents with Charnwood Borough Council, Walters Architects achieved this approval first time and within the allocated time frame.

We now look forward to preparing and submitting a building control application and taking the scheme forward to the next stage.
